Our Story

All of our skin care products are hand made in my kitchen. They are made from real ingredients that you can easily identify. I like ingredients such as olive oil, shea butter, oatmeal, etc. The list goes on and just gets yummier!

I make my skin care from scratch, instead of using bases or mixes, for a couple of reasons. First is my desire to offer spa quality natural skin care. The only way I know for sure that the best raw ingredients available are in my products, is if I put them there myself. The next reason is our desire to live a more natural lifestyle. Our family believes that nature provides wonderful ingredients to pamper and soothe our bodies. Whenever possible, we turn to nature first. Finally, there is the absolute promise that all of my products are free of parabens, formaldehydes and mineral oil. These products have raised health concerns in the U.S. and abroad. Many are banned from skin care use by the European Union. This casts enough doubt for me to avoid use on my family, so I wouldn't use them on yours either.

Lautzy Soap is the love child of mine, Jennifer Lautzenheiser. I am a work-at-home-mother to 2 wonderful children and step mother to 1 amazing woman. I am also the spouse of a soon-to-be retired military man.

I appreciate that by working from home I am available to my family and can still follow my hearts desire. I am eternally grateful for this blessing and wonderful customers. Lautzy Soap brings me great joy, and I hope that's evident in my final product. Enjoy!
