Located in Reston, Virginia, LHB Communications, Inc. is owned and operated by Leslie A. Braunstein, APR, a seasoned industry professional. With over 20 years of experience in the field, Leslie holds professional accreditation from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and a master’s degree from the University of Maryland’s College of Journalism, where she wrote her thesis under the advisement of Dr. James Grunig, one of the nation's leading public relations educators.
Over the course of her career, Leslie has published more than two million words in a variety of publications including, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Washington Times, USA Today, numerous trade publications, and thousands of newsletters, brochures, reports, speeches, news releases, scripts, Web pages, and more.
Earlier in her career, Leslie served as served as a public information officer with the U.S. Department of Energy and as a communications manager with Booz-Allen & Hamilton, Inc. Her work with DOE included media events covered by all U.S. TV networks, international press, and other media with combined audiences exceeding 25 million.

Leadership:
LHB Communications believes in giving back to the community. A 1996 Leadership Fairfax graduate, Leslie was appointed by two Virginia governors to the Board of Trustees of the Virginia Museum of Natural History and served for six years as a Director of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce. While chairing the Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee, she won the Chamber’s Committee Chairman of the YearAward for an unprecedented two consecutive years. Leslie has chaired the Fairfax County Child Care Advisory Council and served on the Boards of Reston’s Teen Center, the Committee for Dulles, and The Arc of Northern Virginia. LHB Communications has provided pro-bono public relations services to the National Capital Golf Classic (an American Cancer Society event), the Plaza America 5K Family Run-Walk for Children’s Hospital, and other charitable events and causes.
